Stephanie is a professor and head of the Department of Landscape Architecture and Regional & Community Planning at Kansas State University. Visualizing possibilities, in community designs, scholarship and organizational change shapes her work. She works across scales and boundaries seeking new opportunities to make connections between people and ideas that can shape places and thinking.
She graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Master of City Planning. Practice in Boston, Dallas and San Antonio framed her early professional experience. She is a registered Landscape Architect, Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects and the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture, and member of the American Institute of Certified Planners. Named one of the 2016-2017 25 Most Admired Educators by DesignIntelligence, Stephanie currently serves as President-Elect of the Landscape Architecture Foundation.
