Ellen C. Stewart
MLA, Landscape Architect, St. Paul Parks and Recreation
Ellen is a registered landscape architect with over 17 years experience in designing public spaces at Saint Paul Parks & Recreation in the Design & Construction Division. Her work is focused on outdoor spaces that foster environmental stewardship and strengthen the communities around them. Ellen's work in public sector planning and designing public spaces includes parks, plazas, memorials, trails and play areas, as well as large scale planning with interdepartmental teams such as the Central Corridor LRT and the Great River Passage.
She graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture. Ellen has been an active member of ASLA since 1999 and has served as the President, Secretary and Trustee for the Minnesota ASLA Chapter. She is also a member of NRPA and CPA
